Достаточно сложно отследить причинно-следственные связи между состоянием твердых тканей зубов, ротовой жидкости, стоматологического статуса спортсменов пловцов, и особенностями водной среды тренировочных бассейнов, где проходят спортивные занятия. В статье представлен анализ и систематизация литературных данных, посвященных изучению состояния зубочелюстной системы у лиц, занимающихся плаванием, сформулированы современные представления по данному вопросу и выделены направления, в которых можно продолжить научные исследования.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>To date, information on the problem is contradictory and ambiguous. It is difficult to trace cause – effect relationships between the condition of hard dental tissues, oral fluid, the dental status of swimmers, and the characteristics of the water environment of training pools.
